Green Bins update

Some questions have been raised in connection with the revised Green Bin collection Service.

• Can green bins be kept or will they collected, for those who don’t want to pay?

Yes, Green bins can be kept. I would actively encourage people to keep the bins. If you cut a small section at the bottom out and a few vent holes, you could have a mini composter.

• Will folk get some kind of sticker for their bin to indicate they’ve paid so the men know to take it?

Residents will have a pack sent to them, with all the information in, the pack with have stickers etc for bins.
