Minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held on Thursday 11th July 2019 at Bartington Chapel at 8.00pm.

No Declaration of Interest was made.
- To confirm the minutes of the Annual Parish Council Meeting and Annual Parish Meeting held on Thursday 16th May 2019
MATTERS ARISING
- Notice Boards – The Clerk still asked that the lowering of the Notice Board was looked into as she felt unsafe using it. The other board at the site of the garage at 4 Lane Ends would be removed and repaired before being repositioned.
With regards to the old notice board, Mr Madden had asked if anybody would like this or should he just dispose of it? Councillor Davenport said he would like it and the Clerk would get in touch to sort this out.
- Dutton Oak – The Clerk had started to put together the proposed new Newsletter, but it was slow progress.
- Blocked Drain near Dane Farm – After some very heavy rain and an accident at the site of this blocked drain, it had now been cleared.
- Road Signs – Junction of Barkers Hollow Road – Councillor Bloor said he had not been able to look at this matter yet but would do so.
- Land at rear of Northwich Road – The Clerk had not been able to put her hands on the Deeds to the land yet.
- Parish Council Accounts – Councillor Helm would take the relevant paperwork to the Auditor to be completed.
- CORRESPONDENCE
- Oak Bank Farm Appeal – The owners of Oak Bank had asked the Council for their support in this matter. The Clerk had made comments stating that no objections had ever been raised to the development on this site and that they felt that the property was not out of place or character with others in the area.
- Police & Crime Commissioner – A meeting with the Police & Crime Commissioner was being held on Tuesday 6th August @ Cheshire Constabulary Headquarters, Winsford

The Clerk had been asked to raise a few matters with Cheshire West as follows:
- Blocked grids along Higher Lane – One of the residents had taken it upon themselves to clear the grids to try and prevent the flooding of their garden.
- Speed Limit – A request had been made that Higher Lane be made a 40mph limit.
- Cutting of grass verges: Corner of A533 near to Higher Lane/Barkers Hollow Road Junction.
