DUTTON PARISH COUNCIL

Minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held on Thursday 28th March 2019 at Bartington Chapel at 8.00pm.

Present: Councillors Brierley-Jones, Helm, W. Antrobus, Hough, Morris, Bloor and County Councillors Norman Wright and Lynn Gibbon.

  1. APOLOGIES

 

Apologies were received from Councillor D Antrobus

  1. DECLARATION OF INTEREST

No Declarations of Interest were made.

County Councillor Norman Wright and Lynn Gibbon were Councillors for the Marbury Ward which Dutton would come under after the Election in May and they gave the Councillors an introduction to who they were and some of their plans should they be re-elected.

  1. MINUTES

To confirm the minutes of Parish Council meeting held on 28th February 2019.

            MATTERS ARISING

 

  • Notice Boards – The Notice Board had not yet been lowered but hopefully soon.  Nothing had been heard back from Mr & Mrs Madden.
  • Dutton Oak – No one had come forward so the Clerk would attempt to produce the newsletter.
  • Councillor Vacancy – There had been an enquiry with regards to the vacancy, but it was felt it better to leave the position open until after the forthcoming election.
  • Drive Way Marsh Lane – CW&C had responded to say that the matter was being looked into.  The Clerk said she would contact them again nearer to the next meeting to get and update.

 

  1. CORRESPONDENCE

 

  • Oak Bank Farm – An email had been received from the owners of Oak Bank Farm asking for the Councils support in regard to difficulties they were having with the Planning Department in relation to their property on Marsh Lane. The Council did not know what they could do at the moment but would support in any way they could.  The clerk would make contact with the owners.
  • Tangled Web Solutions – This Invoice for the Website Service – £300 – was passed for payment

  • Review and payment of Clerks Salary – This was reviewed and passed for payment.  Total: £ 2172.41
  • Payment for Room Hire – A payment of £ 55 was passed for the Hire of the Chapel for the Councils monthly meeting.

 

All Councillors had reapplied for their place on the Council.  Thanks, were given to Councillor Helm who had kindly taken all the Election forms to Wyvern House to be checked.

Details had been sent in regard to Mini Speed Display Signs.  The Clerk would try and ascertain the cost.
