DUTTON PARISH COUNCIL

Minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held on Wednesday 2nd March 2022 at 7.45 at Davenports Tea Room.

Present: Councillors, P Brierley-Jones, C. Brierley-Jones, Davenport, Morris, Bloor.   County Councillor L Gibbon and 2 residents of the Village

  1. APOLOGIES

Apologies were received from Councillors D Antrobus, W Antrobus, and County Councillors Wright and Marshall.

  1. DECLARATION OF INTEREST

No Declaration of interest were made.

  1. REPORT FROM CW&C

Councillor Gibbon gave details on the following:

  • Budget – 2.99% Rise
  • New Recycling Bin & Green Waste Subscriptions
  • Fly Tipping Increase
  • Soot Hill Update
  • Boundary Changes Meeting 10th March (New Northwich Ward)
  • HyNet North West Hydrogen Pipeline – Clr. Gibbon had been to one of the consultation meetings.  Mr Swallow (resident) had also attended the meeting and gave his thoughts on the proposals.  He would furnish some details to the Clerk and she would leave feedback on behalf of the Parish Council.

To confirm the minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held on Wednesday 17th November 2021

          MATTERS ARISING

 

  • Land at Rear of Northwich Road – Councillors had now all been sent details of the deeds, although some mentioned they had not seen it. The matter would be discussed at the next meeting.

  • Drainage Issues – Higher Lane – Another issue on Higher Lane had been reported to the Clerk which she had passed on to CW&C. This area in question was on the Boundary with Halton but would be looked into.

  • Queens Jubilee Celebrations – June 2022 – 2 sub meetings had been held but not much interest had been raised. It had therefore been decided to accept the Invitation from Whitley to join their proposed celebrations.  More details would follow.

  • Dog Exercising Area – Marsh Lane – Several objections were made by the Parish Council to the Planning Application.

  • Members Grant Application – The application for Funds (£668.00) for a Defibrillator had been accepted and received. Davenport was asked to look into a supplier for this and keep the Clerk informed.

  • Clerks Salary / Expenses – The Clerk presented her expenses and these were passed by the Council (£1727.81 / Tax: £396.60)
  • Tangled Wed Solutions – Yearly Maintenance Invoice – £ 337.50 – This was passed for payment.

The next meeting would be the AGM and Annual Parish Meeting.  This would be held on 11th May.
