Minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held on Thursday 21st July 2016 at Bartington Chapel at 8.00pm.
Present: Councillors: Gleave, D Antrobus, W Antrobus, Hough, Cosgrove, Brierley-Jones & Bloor.
- APOLOGIES
Apologies were received from Councillor Helm, and County Councillors Fifield, Tonge and Williams.

No Declaration of Interest was made
- To confirm the minutes of the Annual Parish Council Meeting and Annual Parish Meeting held on Thursday 16th June 2016
MATTERS ARISING
- Parish Council Notice Boards – News from the new owners at the Service Station was still being awaited.
- Transparency Fund – Councillor Helm was not available to give an update
- Risk Assessment – This was approved by Members and appropriately signed and dated. The Clerk would forward a copy to the Auditors for their reference.
- CORRESPONDENCE
Report from Whitley School – The Clerk read out the report. The School
seemed to be doing well.
ChALC – Invoice: £ 6.00 – This Invoice was for postage of a Parish Map that ChALC had kindly offered to the Council. This was passed for payment.
- PLANNING APPLICATIONS
Application No: 16/01215/OUT – Extension to Weavervale Park for 12 additional park homes – (Re-Submission) Land adjacent Weavervale Park, Warrington Road, Acton Bridge – AWAITING DECISION

Dutton Oak Newsletter – Councillor Cosgrove had kindly offered to get the Dutton Oak Newsletter back in production. Some discussion was held on whether birthdays should be included in the newsletter because of Data Protection.
Waste Skips A533 near Lodge Lane – Two waste skips had been dumped on the side of the road near to Lodge Lane. The Clerk would contact CW&C with regards to getting them removed.
Councillor Bloor advised members, for their own reference, that he was planning to purchase a Microlight Aircraft.
