DUTTON PARISH COUNCIL

Minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held on Thursday 1^st December 2016 at Bartington Chapel at 8.00pm.

 

Present: Councillors: Gleave, W Antrobus, Hough, Bloor, Brierley-Jones, Helm.  County Councillor C Fifield

 

1. APOLOGIES

 

Apologies were received from Councillors Cosgrove and D Antrobus. Councillor Harry Tonge.

 

2. DECLARATION OF INTEREST

 

Councillor W Antrobus declared an interest.

 

3. To confirm the minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held on Thursday 20^th October 2016

 

            MATTERS ARISING

 

• Parish Council Notice Boards – This matter was still in the hands of Councillor D Antrobus.

 

• Parish Council Web Site – This was well in hand. The domain name would be ‘duttonparishcouncil.co.uk’

 

• Dutton Oak Newsletter – Hopefully more update at the next meeting.

 

• Broadband Services – Councillor Harry Tonge had informed the Clerk that he was on the Rural Growth Board so would be willing to help with this matter.

 

• Transition Northwich – No one was able to attend this meeting

 

• Whitley Village Hall Roof Appeal – Councillor Helm was asked to invite Clifford Straw to the next meeting so that details could be discussed with regards to this matter.

 

 

4. CORRESPONDENCE

 

CW&C – Council Tax Reduction Scheme – CW&C advised that this Grant would be cut significantly until it ceased completely in 2020/21.  Figures for the next 4 years were given which totalled £239.00.  Because of this being a small amount the Council was asked if they would like to receive this total grant payment as one lump sum to be paid alongside the Precept for 2017/18.  This was agreed.

 

5. PLANNING APPLICATIONS

 

Application No: 16/04727/FUL – Side & rear extension to existing workshop building – Hall Cottage, Higher Lane, Dutton – NO OBJECTIONS RAISED

 

Application No: 16/04844/FUL – Retrospective planning permission for Gazebo, Sheds, Summerhouse, greenhouse & Decking – Brook Lodge, Higher Lane, Dutton – NO OBJECTIONS RAISED

 

Application No: 16/04171/FUL – Conversion of traditional brick and modern barns to 2 No dwellings with associated gardens, parking & landscaping – Meadow Farm, Marsh Lane – NO OBJECTIONS RAISED

 

Application No: 16/04170/FUL – Conversion of barns to 3 no residential dwellings with associated gardens, parking & landscaping – Woodside Farm, Northwich Road – The Council could see no problems with this other than the access off the main road.

 

6. AOB

 

Councillor Fifield advised that there was a possibility for the Council to apply for a Member Budget Grant of up to a possible £750.00.  It was agreed to apply for assistance with the setting up of the new website and ongoing costs.
