DUTTON PARISH COUNCIL

Minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held on Thursday 20th July 2017 at Bartington Chapel at 8.00pm.

 

Present: Councillors D Antrobus, W. Antrobus, Hough, & Brierley Jones.

 

  1. APOLOGIES

 

Apologies were received from Councillors Bloor, Helm and Cosgrove and County Councillors Fifield, Tonge and Williams.

 

  1. DECLARATION OF INTEREST

 

No Declarations of Interest were made.

 

  1. To confirm the minutes of the Annual Parish Council Meeting and Annual Parish Meeting held on Thursday 22nd June 2017

 

            MATTERS ARISING

 

  • Notice Boards – Councillor Brierley Jones has spoken to the owners of the Garage at Dutton and they were happy to have the new notice board on their premises.  Councillor Brierley Jones would liaise with the owners to site the board in the best position.

 

  • Parish Council Website – The Clerk had now sent all necessary information and had asked for the site to be revised due to the resignation of Councillor Gleave.

 

  • Dutton Oak – Councillor Cosgrove was not at the meeting to discuss this matter.

 

  • Parish Councillor Vacancy – The vacancy had been advertised on the Notice Board and on the Dutton Facebook Site.

 

  • Whitley School Bus Service – Councillor Brierley-Jones had spoken to CW&C again regarding this matter but there was nothing the Council could do.  The only suggestion was for appeal on the grounds of dangerous, busy road with no pavements.

 

  • Whitley Village Hall Roof – Full funding had now been granted for this work to be carried out.

 

  • Fly Tipping Matters – There were several fly tipping issues which the Clerk had reported.  It also seemed that the matter of the fuel barrels had stopped.

Application No: 17/01304/FUL – Addition of Two Velux Roof Windows & alterations to access gates – The Stables, Brook Farm, Higher Lane, Dutton – PERMITTED

 

Application No: 17/02413/FUL – Redevelopment of existing Petrol filling station – Tall Trees Services Station – No Objections Raised

 

Application No: 17/02598/FUL – 1 Dutton Locks, Little Leigh – Part Demolition, two storey rear extension and internal alterations – No objections raised.
