DUTTON PARISH COUNCIL

Minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held on Thursday 30^th March 2017 at Bartington Chapel at 8.00pm.

 

Present: Councillors: Gleave, W Antrobus, Bloor, Helm and Brierley-Jones.

 

1. APOLOGIES

 

Apologies were received from Councillors D Antrobus, & Hough. County Councillors Fifield, Tonge and Williams.

 

2. DECLARATION OF INTEREST

 

No Declarations were made.

 

3. To confirm the minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held on Thursday 23^rd February 2017

 

            MATTERS ARISING

 

• Parish Council Notice Boards – This matter was ongoing.

 

• Parish Council Web Site – This was progressing well.  The Clerk still had some information to send.  The hosting and maintenance of the new site was discussed and it was agreed to go for a fully managed service for 12 months initially.  This would be at a cost of £20 per month which would be paid in one yearly payment.  Any further training / changes to the website etc would be charged at £30 per hour.

 

• Dutton Oak Newsletter – Councillor Cosgrove was not at the meeting but it was hoped that a preliminary issue would be available soon.  Some feedback had been received on the Village Facebook Page.

 

• Broadband Services – Councillor Brierley-Jones told members of a Broadband Router that he had bought recently (approx. £100) which along with a Sim Card had vastly improved his Broadband Service.

 

• Whitley Village Hall Roof Appeal – The Clerk had confirmed that £3500 would be available from the Parish Council towards this appeal.  Councillor Helm confirmed that both applications to Biffa and Wren had now been completed and sent.

 

 

4. CORRESPONDENCE

 

Details had been received concerning the Electoral Review of Cheshire West and Chester: Warding arrangements.  The Clerk had sent Councillors a copy of the email so they could review the proposals.  The consultation period would end on the 5^th June.

 

Some information had been received from Frack Free Northwich and how people, if they wished to, could join the Campaign.

 

 

5. PLANNING APPLICATIONS

 

Application No: 17/00612/FUL – Single storey rear extension, new entrance porch and changes to window and door openings – 2 Whitley Brook Court, Marsh Lane, Dutton – APPROVED

 

Application No: 17/00560/FUL – Timber Field Shelter to support mixed agricultural & equestrian use of the land – Land Rear 4 Whitley Brook Court, Marsh Lane, Dutton – NO OBJECTIONS

 

Application No: 17/00873/FUL – Single storey rear extension, new entrance porch and changes to window and door openings – Amendment to 17/00162/FUL – 2 Whitley Brook Court, Marsh Lane, Dutton – NO OBJECTIONS

 

6. AOB

 

• Review and payment of Clerks Salary – The Clerks salary was reviewed and approved.  Total £ 2037.96
• Payment to Bartington Chapel – Payment towards the Chapel had not risen in a few years and it was agreed to pay £55.00 for the room hire.  Without the Chapel the Council would have nowhere to meet.
