DUTTON PARISH COUNCIL

 

Minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held on Thursday 26^th October 2017 at Bartington Chapel at 8.00pm.

Present: Councillors D Antrobus, W. Antrobus, Helm, Bloor, Brierley-Jones, Hough and new Councillor Mrs June Morris.

 

1. APOLOGIES

Apologies were received from County Councillors Fifield, Tonge and Williams

 

2. DECLARATION OF INTEREST

No Declarations of Interest were made.

 

3. To confirm the minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held on Thursday 20^th September 2017

 

            MATTERS ARISING

• Notice Boards – No further news.

 

• Dutton Oak – No further news.

 

• Whitley Village Hall Roof:

 

• • Payment to Biffa – £ 2080.74 – A letter had been received asking for the Councils contribution to be paid.  This had been completed and sent so as not to hold up the funding and delay the start of the project.
  • Contribution to Whitley Village Hall – £1419.26 – It was agreed to pay this once the work on the roof had been completed.

The Clerk indicated that a contribution of £ 2000 from CBJ Properties had been received towards this project.

 

• Local Government Boundary Review – The Clerk informed members that the review recommended that Dutton be moved into the Marbury ward along with Whitley and Little Leigh.  After some discussion it was felt that the Parish would be better if it remained in the Weaver and Cuddington ward.

 

4. CORRESPONDENCE

• BDO Audit Review – Invoice £36.00 – This was passed for payment.  A number of issues had been raised with regards to the Audit which had been or would be addressed.

 

• Parliamentary Constituency Boundary Review – This review was running until 11^th December 2017  http://boundarycommissionforengland.independent.gov.uk/coming-soon-revised-proposals/

 

• Cheshire Rural Touring Arts – This was a booklet indicating what and where performances were being shown during the next few months.

5. PLANNING APPLICATIONS

Application No: 17/04144/LDC – The use of land & building for the repair of machinery & the renting and leasing of construction & civil engineering machinery & equipment – Hall Cottage, Higher Lane, Dutton – No objections raised.

 

Application No: 17/03235/FUL – Erection of a Circular Open Sided Gazebo with canvas side panels – 7 Whitley Brook Court, Marsh Lane, Dutton – PERMITTED

 

Application No: 17/02413/FUL – Redevelopment of existing Petrol filling station – Tall Trees Services Station – No Objections Raised

 

Application No: 17/02598/FUL – 1 Dutton Locks, Little Leigh – Part Demolition, two storey rear extension and internal alterations – PERMITTED

The Clerk was asked to find details of the Mobile Library.

 

The new owner of Woodside Farm on the A533 was present at the meeting.  He outlined the plans for the property and assured the Council that nothing would be done without the relevant permission.
