Looking forward to seeing you all at this celebration of Queen Elizabeth’s Very Special Day.
Dutton and Whitley Parish Councils have been extremely generous with their donations to fund this event in providing a Spectacular Beacon to be lit on the night.
Whitley Village Hall Committee are providing the Village Hall and field.
Free parking will be on the field used for the Rose Queen.
The Women’s Institute (W.I.) have excelled with the decorations of tables plus celebration biscuits from the Baking Beauties.
The event is starting at 5pm on the field (weather permitting). There will be free tea and coffee, with cordial for children.
Ice cream will be available for purchase.
You will be able to purchase Cheshire Gold Beer on draft, plus lager (bottles/ cans). If you want to have wine or fizz please bring your own.
Please bring your own picnic or snacks.
The event will have a photographer, as on the day and we are hoping to recreate the 2012 Village photograph as a memento of this historic occasion.
Rock ‘n’ Roll Blues band, ‘Stone Cold Fever’, will be playing during the evening with the lighting of the Beacon at approximately 9.30pm.
We will then be continuing the celebration with music and dance.
