DUTTON PARISH COUNCIL
Minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held on Thursday 8th September 2016 at Bartington Chapel at 8.00pm.
Present: Councillors: Gleave, D Antrobus, W Antrobus, Brierley-Jones & Helm.

Apologies were received from Councillors Hough, Cosgrove & Bloor and County Councillors Fifield and Tonge.

- To confirm the minutes of the Annual Parish Council Meeting and Annual Parish Meeting held on Thursday 21st July 2016
MATTERS ARISING
- Parish Council Notice Boards – The owners of the Service Station were happy for the Parish Council to erect a Notice Board on their site. Councillor D Antrobus would organise the work.
- Transparency Fund – Councillor Helm had attended a Seminar about this matter and had found it very enlightening. With regards to the Web Site provider she had contacted (on recommendation) Tangled Web Solutions as she was getting no response from Vision ICT. Costs etc would be the same. It was hoped to have the Website live by the end of October. A printer and scanner had been purchased and a payment of £479.74 was passed.
- Dutton Oak Newsletter – Councillor Cosgrove had indicated that she would send a draft proposed newsletter soon.
- Abandoned waste skips – The skips had now been removed but it was unsure whether CW&C or the owners had had them removed.
- CORRESPONDENCE
CW&C – Rural Support Grant – This was information regarding grants for Capital Based Projects. Grants between £ 2000 & £ 7000 were available. However any applications had to be made before 30th September.
DF11 Speed Indicator Device – The Clerk gave details about these devices which started at a price of £ 1995.00. The Council thought the cost was rather expensive.
Graham Evans MP Poster – This would be put on one of the Notice Boards

Application No: 16/03005/FUL – Conversion of Agricultural Building to form 1 dwelling – Woodbank Farm, Marsh Lane, Dutton – No objections raised
Application No: 16/01215/OUT – Extension to Weavervale Park for 12 additional park homes – (Re-Submission) Land adjacent Weavervale Park, Warrington Road, Acton Bridge – AWAITING DECISION
- AOB
The matter of Broadband Services was raised. Many residents were very unhappy with this service. Councillor Helm would find out who the Council should contact with regard to this matter. It was also suggested that the matter be raised in the Dutton Oak and try and get a petition to get Faster / Fibre Broadband in the village.
