  1. CORRESPONDENCE

CWaC: Marbury Park & Anderton Car Parks: CWaC Parking Services manage both car parks and for several years, there has been an informal arrangement in respect of parking charges. The proposed Orders were seeking to formalise these existing arrangements. Importantly, formalising the TROs will enable the Council to enforce the parking provisions, including for non-payment as well as other contraventions such as misuse of designated bays and parking outside marked bays. Regarding the outcome of the TRO consultation – no objections were received – therefore the TRO will now be made and implemented with a ‘go live’ date of 30th July 2026. They intend to issue warning notices for four weeks from that date prior to issuing any live penalties.

CWaC: Councillors Registers Of Interest – At the request of CWaC the Clerk asked all Councillors to revalidate the Register of Interest.

All Council members present, agreed with this proposal.

• Residents were again being urged to make sure that their house names or numbers and their letter boxes, were clearly visible. This was to try and help Post people and delivery drivers make correct deliveries.

• A suggestion was made that when setting a date for the meetings, the Council took into account the dates of neighbouring council meetings. It was further suggested that neighbouring Council members were invited to attend a future PC meeting.
