MATTERS ARISING
- Notice Boards – The Clerk had been informed that CW&C that permission would be needed to move the Notice board alongside the pavement. Discussions were held and it was agreed that maybe moving the Notice Board to a different location would be a better idea. Councillor Brierley-Jones agreed to speak to the owner of Dutton Service Station to discuss the possibility of putting the Notice Board at their premises.
- Parish Council Website – Information regarding Councillors Declarations was still required. The Clerk would ensure this was completed. A copy of the Parish Map was also suggested. Councillor Helm would deal with this.
- Dutton Oak – Councillor Cosgrove apologised for not being able to do anything on this matter but would look into it.
- Parish Councillor Vacancy – Mrs June Morris was at the meeting as a prospective candidate. A Vacancy Notice would be put on the Notice Board as per proper procedure.
- Whitley School Bus Service – The Clerk had been in contact with CW&C regarding this matter, but policy had now changed and a bus was only provided to the child’s nearest school. Councillor Brierley-Jones said he would take up this matter on behalf of the family concerned to see if anything could be done on appeal. The Clerk would send details to him.
- Whitley Village Hall Roof – Funding had been received from WREN but the outcome from Biffa was still awaited.
