MATTERS ARISING
- Notice Boards – The Notice Board from the garage would be given to Councillor Davenport to put at the Tea Rooms. The Clerk was still awaiting further news on the old Notice Board from opposite the Tunnel Top. A community notice board was to be put in the new garage which the Parish Council would be able to use.
- Dutton Oak – The Clerk had not managed to do anymore on this but said she would try and get a first edition done for January. The Clerk was asked to contact Tangled Web Solutions to see if they could tell the Council how many hits the web site was getting.
- Road Signs – Junction of Barkers Hollow Road – CW&C had been and repositioned the signs, but the Clerk had noticed that they had already been knocked.
- Land at rear of Northwich Road – The Clerk was still trying to locate the deeds. She had been on to the Land Registry, but it would be £45 to obtain the records. She would keep looking. Councillor Bloor had been approached by on the houses asking if the field next to the end bungalow could be cut. He had agreed to look into the matter.
- School Bus Service – The clerk had been contacted again regarding this matter. She had given details of the contacts at CW&C and would contact them herself, but as had already been noted, the council did not hold out much hope of getting a satisfactory conclusion to the matter.
- Blocked Grids – Higher Lane – CW&C had been to Higher Lane and discussed the matter with the resident who had lodged the complaint. It was hoped that all the grids would be located and unblocked. The Clerk expressed her disappointment that no Parish Councillors had turned up to the meeting.
- Speed Limit – Higher lane – This matter had been discussed with CW&C and it would be a long and costly process, some of which would have to be funded by the Parish. An assessment could be carried out and further discussions would then take place.
